Melissa BoesenMelissa Boesen currently serves as our Member-at-Large.
Melissa was born in Mobile and has lived in Mobile County most of her life. Melissa was raised in the United Methodist faith tradition. Melissa has been active in MCC for 16 years. Melissa has two children Darby Grace 27, and Brady 22. They are her two greatest Blessings. Melissa has a bachelor's degree in psychology and Sociology from South Alabama and works in Human Resources at Infirmary Health, where she has worked for 35 years. A very artsy person, Melissa loves painting, drawing and just about anything crafty. Another passion of Melissa's is Music. Melissa sings in our choir and finds it very therapeutic. Melissa's spiritual gifts are Discernment, Faith and Hospitality and she currently serves as our Hospitality Ministry Team Leader. Melissa resides in Semmes with Brady and her two cats, Gracie and Piper. |
Waylon BaileyWaylon Bailey currently serves as our Clerk.
Waylon was born in Memphis Tennessee and was raised in the Pentecostal faith tradition. A lover of coffee, Waylon currently works as a General Manager for a local coffee shop. Waylon has been actively involved in MCC for 20 years. With a deep calling to music, Waylon serves as our Worship Ministry Team Leader. He and his life partner of 10 years, Tony, share their home in Midtown Mobile with their 2 dogs, Gus and Max. |
Jeannie BartonJeannie Barton currently serves as our Vice-Moderator. Jeannie was born in Lucedale Mississippi and was raised in the Methodist faith tradition. With a strong desire to teach, Jeannie currently works as a Homeschool Teacher. Jeannie also works part time as a delivery driver. An avid outdoor fan, Jeannie enjoys working on their family farm, playing in her shop, cooking, and yard work. Jeannie has a huge heart for service. A passion she has is supporting Heart Gallery of Alabama to help get “hard to place” foster kids adopted. Jeannie has been involved in MCC for over 20 years. She and her wife of 23 years, Denise, share their home in Lucedale with their son Seth, 4 dogs, and a small herd of cows. |
Hayse BrockHayse currently serves as our Member-at-Large.
Hayse was born in Mobile and has lived in Baldwin County all his life. He was raised in the Pentecostal/Holiness faith tradition. Hayse currently works as an Activities Director for an assisted living facility. Born into a singing family, Hayse has a deep love for music. He sings in our choir and plays piano. Hayse also loves to travel and explore new (and old) places, discovering interesting history about wherever he’s exploring. Hayse has been actively involved in MCC for 2 yearsand has recently accepted the call to serve on our Board of Directors. Hayse currently lives in Bay Minette with his 2 cats, Lulu and Miley. |
Frank DodsonFrank Dodson currently serves as our Treasurer.
Frank was born in Heflin Alabama and was raised in the Methodist faith tradition. Frank achieved his LPN degree in 2000 and has spent most of his nursing career working with senior citizens. With his passion for senior care, his current job is working in a nursing home / assisted living facility. An enthusiastic “DIY-er”, Frank enjoys doing home improvements in his spare time. He is also a fan of traveling, going out with friends, and spending time with his fur babies. Frank has been actively involved in MCC for over 25 years and has served in many areas including the Board of Directors, Director of Building & Grounds, and Deacon. He and his husband of 25 years, Ron, share their home in West Mobile with their 4 dogs and 1 cat. |
